Applications for Financial Assistance – Year 2010/11

 The Town Council has adopted a new process for determining applications for Financial Assistance.    A budget of £36,000 has been set aside for the year 2009/10 to support local voluntary organisations and community projects.  

Grants are determined on two occasions in the year.   The Finance Committee meeting on 14th June will consider allocating up to 60%  of the grant fund (after other commitments have been fulfilled) and the meeting on 15th November will consider allocating up to 30% . The remaining 10% will be held in reserve for urgent requests which would not otherwise have been foreseen.

Organisations wishing to make applications to the Council for Financial Assistance should therefore apply by 14th May for the first round of applications or 15th October for the second round.
